How to check National open school (NIOS) class XII admission status online?

  • Online admissions for National Institute of open schooling (NIOS) have been started. Some students are filling the applications through agents and some are submitting the applications through NIOS official website. The online admission procedure of NIOS class XII starts with the eligibility criteria. You must know national open board eligibility criteria before taking admission into it. The eligibility criterion involves class X and other category certificates. Once you are eligible for the class XII admission then next step is to register your account with NIOS official website.

    NIOS online admissions 2012- 2013

    After the registration, you must have a valid email address and password for login again in your account. Once you login in your account then upload your latest photo using the browse button. After that filled the required personal details including 5 subjects and allotted study center of your wish. The allotted center should be responsible for providing study material and guidance regarding the NIOS exams. Select the AI center after seeing facilities and nearby distance. After that submit your details to NIOS board by clicking on submit button.

    A new Windows will appear that will ask you for NIOS class XII online payment. The class XII online payment can be made through credit card or Visa. One more option is there for the NIOS class XII payment i.e. with reference to bank draft. The fee structure of NIOS exams is explained in my last post. The fee is different for various categories. Once you know your admission fee then next step is to compile that fee amount on the bank draft, which is to be payable at your regional office.  The list of regional offices is given below-

    The bank draft is payable at regional office and documents is to be delivered at regional office. The documents must be delivered along with a latest photo. Once you submit the documents to National open board then wait for updates from NIOS websites. Regularity login in to your account and check for the Enrollment number and Identity card updates.

    After you submit the documents to national open board, how could you come to know that your admission application has been approved? The National Institute of open schooling provides provision to show admission status online. 

    All you have to do is to enter your reference number (unique number) to text box and click on submit button. You will be redirected to your admission status page, from which you can take print out of the documents.
