ISEET 2013 exams syllabus for class XII, mains and advance

Indian science engineering eligibility Test (ISEET) is new name given to IIT-JEE 2013 and AIEEE 2013 exam. A new exam syllabus and exam format is creating a buzz in the Educational industry.  Students are anxious to know the syllabus of the ISEET 2013 exam so that they can prepare for the IIT-JEE 2013 and AIEEE 2013 exams. ISEET 2013 exams syllabus are still playing a hide and seek game among students. A common entrance exam is introduced by the union minister, kapil Sibal but some IIT colleges denied the request of Union Minister.

Some IIT colleges want to have their separate entrance exam so that they can standardize their own entrance exam for students.  The request of most of the IIT colleges is to include the class XII weightage for the IIT-JEE 2013 exam. According to IIT council, the examination pattern should be set such that only the intelligent and well focused students can qualify for the IIT- JEE 2013 exam. So, finally IIT council and Union minister, Kapil Sibal come to conclusion that examination will have some connection with class XII board marks.

ISEET 2013 exam eligibility criteria

A new eligibility criterion for ISEET 2013 exam has been introduced; in order to qualify for the IIT-JEE 2013 exam, you must be among the top 20 percent students of your respective board from your state. If belong to CBSE then only top 20 percent students of CBSE board from your state will be eligible for the IIT-JEE 2013 exam. The rest students have to wait for the for AIEEE 2013 exam.  

ISEET 2013 exam include both AIEEE and IIT-JEE exam. If you are eligible according to class XII marks then you are eligible for 2013 IIT-JEE exam. The AIEEE 2013 eligibility criterion for entrance exam is same and does not undergo any changes.

ISEET 2013 exams pattern

The syllabus and exam pattern of ISEET 2013 exam under goes changes such that instead of having single entrance exam; Two exams are included for the qualify purpose, first one is mains 2013 exam and second one is advance 2013 exam. According to rumors, IIT council want to include 40 percent class weightage, 30 percent mains and advance weightage in the IIT-JEE 2013 results but menapster reports says that Kapil Sibal wants to reduce the weightage of class XII marks. A written approval is yet to come from Sibal office, which includes all the details of the ISEET 2013 exam pattern and other details.

ISEET 2013 exam syllabus

The students have to study the class XII, mains and advance syllabus to qualify for the ISEET 2013 exam. The ISEET 2013 exam syllabus include following-

Class XII exam syllabus 2013

The syllabus assigned to the students in schools should be followed. If you are not among the top 20 percent students then you are not eligible. The class XII syllabus is required for ISEET 2013 exam preparation. It is better to attend regular classes at schools to get top 20 percent in your state.

Mains exam syllabus 2013

The mains entrance will take place before the advance exam. The syllabus of 2013 Mains exam includes objective type Aptitude questions. The aim of mains exam is to check the aptitude skills of a student.  The syllabus of mains exam for ISEEET qualification is given below-

• Comprehensions
• Critical reasoning
• Logical reasoning

The mains exam is of 3 hours.

Advance exam syllabus 2013 

The advance exam syllabus for ISEET 2013 will test your technical problem solving ability. It includes science subjects and cover typical objective questions. The syllabus includes following-

• Physics
• Mathematics
• Chemistry

The advance exam is also of 3 hours.
