IIT-JEE 2013 mains and advance exam syllabus

  • With the introduction of ISEET exam 2013, many students are willing to know the IIT-JEE 2013 syllabus and exam pattern. The exam pattern as explained in my previous article that top 20 percent students of each state are selected on the basis of class XII percentage. Once you are among the top 20 students then you are eligible for IIT-JEE 2013. In case you are eligible then you have right to appear in IIT-JEE mains and advance exam.

    The IIT-JEE mains exam is conducted for AIEEE and NIT students. and it is conducted by the CBSE. It is expected that either 1.5 lakh or 50 thousand students will be selected after the mains exam. IIT Bombay suggests selecting five times students after the mains exam but IIT council said that 1.5 lakhs students will be selected after the exam. IIT Kanpur officials said that we will decide the advance seats after the mains 2013 exam.

    IIT-JEE 2013 mains exam syllabus

    The mains exam is expected to be based on critical aptitude, logical reasoning and comprehensions but MHRD notification has changed entire scenario. JEE updated 2013 mains exam syllabus includes physics, chemistry and maths subjects. As far as advance exam is concerned then it is much important exam because merit list is made on the basis on this exam. The syllabus of various subjects are given below-

    If you pass out the mains 2013 exam then weightage marks of mains will not be included in the IIT-JEE 2013 advance exam.  The mains exam is just an eligibility criterion to reach the advance exam. In order to prepare for the IIT-JEE 2013 advance exam, you must know the syllabus of the exam. The syllabus of IIT-JEE advance exam includes- Physics, chemistry and mathematics.

    We know that advance exam includes physics, chemistry and mathematics syllabus. It is the mains exam on the basis of which final ranking and merit list is to be obtained. So, it is my advice to students that focus on the class XII percentage and after that your main focus should be on mains and advance exam.

    Till now, we have information that if are you attempting for the second time then you are eligible to give, followed by the top 20 percent criteria which will be compared with 2013 batch students. So, give improvement exam if not sure about your percentage.

    I donot what you are asking about? The cut-off will be decided on basis of JEE advanced 2013 exam.

    If you are not among top 1.5 lakh then you willnot be eligible for JEE advanced 2013 exam.
